Our The Cap'n: Lover and Fighter

Dark days in Philadelphia, PA where our hero literally carries her uncle on her back to seven doctors per day, and also while she makes chopped liver sandwiches to feed to him so he can remember that he wants to live.

Thanks, sweet Dick. Hitting existential bottom left and right around here, but I keep trying to cheer him on to be brave. I just wish the Wimbledon finals were today and not tomorrow, when I travel, so that we could watch Venus and Serena play eachother. Dang.

It is strange to hear the words "sweet" and "dick" together. Sorry about the stressful visit with your uncle. He is lucky to have you. I hope he starts improving soon.

Update:
I made fishcakes, a family favorite, and uncle Stan already has had two plates of them, with potato salad. And he's been smiling! These are major breakthroughs, believe that.

And you are pretty sweet, peeds. Next time I'll make a double batch and bring some up to NY. BTW I'm sorry I missed u this time. I was only at Lizzie 'n' Angie's for 5 seconds before I had to run back to Philly in a semi-panic.
