What I Did at Summer Camp, otherwise known as Art Camp/ADD Camp:

an essay in words and pictures.

Gree c's road to...

her house, with Buster the dog,

porch,

and studio. OKAAY?

The excellent lake, where we later had a cookout and moonlight swim with a group of homosexual aesthetes from the big city. Tres sophisticat.

Gree c and gandi seem to have gone feral this summer, but that is a fond observation, not a judgement.

Gandi's hooked on fishing!

I kid you not.

Sitting down to yet another gourmet dinner prepared by gandi. I was like whoa, every day.

At the swimmin' hole, where we went with gree c's excellent sister Janice. This icy water was like 52 degrees, literally, but extremely healin' for what ailed the people.

At the farmer's market
where we saw this 89 year old man playing the accordian, and then packing it up into the trunk of his cherry, purple muscle car while the ladies looked on.

Waking up is hard to do. Could my entire haid be any puffier?

gree c, ruler of the uniberse.

Oh and here is the adorable baby black bear that came to visit every day. You can't see them, but this is right next to gandi's drum kit and electric guitar area, where we choad rocked every day, and gree c's studio where major butt gets kicked regularly.

Comments:
OK, so there are major things missing from this photo essay, most notably the great Dr. Weeks, who rolled in at about 1:00 AM on my second to last night there.

"Time is an illusion."
-Dr. Weeks

She unfortunately got hung up in the city all week, but I'll take what I can get of the Seamonkey. Why didn't I get a picture of her unloading her car naked, in the road in front of the house?

There were many other joyful moments not represented here, but sometimes it's hard to remember about the camera phone at ADD camp, especially when you are Zen masters like us, living utterly in the moment and not concerned with the illusion of documentation. Plus all the photos of me were butt ugly.

Wow, wow, wow, wow. Great shots--what an idyllic place. My one regret is that the picture of gandi's meal is too dark. I want to see what's for dinner!

PEEDS! Chile rellenos, tacos, and wine. It was crazy good. Btw, I'm sorry I did not get a chance to see you and stop in on the other people of the NYC area in some capacity. It was a dang, but I decided to bypass the city altogether and just go upstate, for lack of time. How are you?

I am swell Capt'n, but wish I could bypass the city altogether too! I am tired of putting that city face on in the a.m.
It sounds like a real great vacation you had and even though I woulda loved to set eyes on you--I think I would done the same.
Can't fault me for wishin' and a hopin.

oops! sometimes i have accidents...

I second that emotion, peeds. It looked super fun up there, with the nudist jam band and all. I guess it's also a bit of a bear community too...

geez, the video looks eggscellent! i like the groovy autofocus malfunction. it's like in Midnight Cowboy when Joe Buck is trippin' out in the city.
