Aquatic Operas

Aquatic Operas, in this round consisting of Juliana Snapper and Jeanine Oleson, did a workshop/laboratory first run of their new piece in Palm Springs this summer.
There were about 15-20 of us in the pool, who made up a kind of chorus of individuals, and Juliana, who did her solo but interactive soprano singing. Jeanine circled the perimeter of the pool, guiding and directing everybody through the shapes and sections of the piece. In this excerpt, Juliana is singing through the floating snorkelabra, made by Jeanine, and the rest of us are using regular snorkels.
