It's the crack of dawn and The Capt'n must now hit the highway, or "freeway" as they call them here, for San Diego, where she must then work and surf all weekend, as per usual.

Comments:
The people here call the freeways "The 405" or "The 101, as opposed to back east, where we used to just say "95." The Mrs. and I have a theory that it is because of the prevalence of Spanish here, where the people always use the article, and we think it just blended over into the English.

OH! I love an added "the". My family does that too. And when i lived in Chicago I used to DIE at the liberal usage of the article. I also like inappropriate plurals.Something that has humored me for years is when my co-worker went out with a guy who told her he loved the womens.
I am glad you like your prez. thick as a brick, yo.
work it out like you do, per usual.

Grrrr, I'ma run up on you with a flute, because I too love me the womenses.

I actually got a semi-mad ride this weekend, which is pretty good for summer. A nice, glassy, long, fast peeler. Small but exciting, and I was like, yes, thank you.
