Team Shredder Book of the Month Club, part II

The IHOP Papers

by Ali Liebegott

Last Gasp publishers

This is another book you have to get without questioning me. If it's anything like Ali's The Beautifully Worthless in terms of quality, you'll be dying over it but in a good way, so what more needs to be said?
So go to one of Ali's many readings on her book tour, starting at The Rubber Rose in San Diego tomorrow night, and then get this book.

By the way, have you gotten Miranda Mellis' book yet?

Comments:
Leibegott is, quite simply, the greatest living writer of her generation. Her hIGH-larious romp The IHOP papers makes me feel really guilty about dressing up for my wife and kids in that Heidi outfit all those years. I mean, they SEEMED to be enjoying themselves, but as the world's greatest living writer except for Leibegott, I, um, uh, I

Also The Cap'n and Mrs. the Cap'n are the greatest living writers of their generation and they just make me feel guilty for dressing. Period. End of story. Know what I mean?

Dear Norman
I'm sorry Hitlers still got you down. That's a bummer. I'm running out to get your,.. I mean Ali's book, yes because I liked the first damn book of hers
she's right up all my alleys

ps. Captn MM's book yeah I got that shit already okaaaay and yes I know its also right up all my alleys
Let me know when you chicks and you too Norman are reading on the east coast
sorry no talking lately doing the MAGIC work for the man

Dear Normanly,
you should read gree c's book and maybe cut it out with the heidi outfit.

Gree c, repeat after me:
"You can't fire me, i quit."

Heidi's outfit is perfect for the weekend with Norman Mailer. His vacation spot being the exact place where Gree C. presumes innocence upon the word. Capt'n is the spaz attack that foams on the brine. Hitler has nothing to do with this part.

Speaking of outfits, Anna Joy wore Ali's old, actual IHOP dress at the reading. Mere words could not etc., etc.
The reading was all the way excellent. A bunch of people read from Ali's book, including Michelle Tea, Anna Joy Springer, Eileen Myles, and then of course Ali himself. It was so funny and good, with a packed, standing room only house that was all bursting for the love for Ali. Good times.

MM, you make my comment box tingle.
