I'm Just Saying

Mrs. The Capt'n just got back from a Bay Area visit. She and our cute little brothers, DJs Rob Fatal and Mike Colossal, had to go to Amoeba Records in Berkely, just because.

The Mrs. had to get another copy of this--->
which is a great thing on it's own, but then what makes it even greater is that The Mrs.' own mom sings on Rothko Chapel.

Then she had to get the cute 7" re-releases of something old + something new.

Comments:
Amoeba records is a blast, looks like you pulled some tasty nugguts. What is this Morton Feldman?

Hi Corny! Amoeba = love. Morton Feldman was a composer who was modernist, mid-century era, "pre-spectral" as The Mrs. says, wrote things that lasted hours & hours sometimes, I don't know how to talk about music and I also don't know a lot of his work, though I do love his piece called Coptic Light. That piece is sort of repetitious, trancy, building on a theme almost cubist-y. Not melodic or anything.

Bubby,
long time no it feels like.
I'm just saying if you get on the plane NOW you could come see the Slits with us thursday night.
seriously Capt'n I'll put on Nico's heroes and you and I could do a fake workout video (which we'll tape and send back to the mrs.) and then we'll go.
I like the looks of this Morton Coptic Light Feldman I can't believe the mamma Mrs. sang this piece, on this album?
ps did you watch Liza on the TV,I'm curious did she play herself a crazy person or a fictious crazy person just like herself, who maybe has special powers like esp or like once Roberta Flack was on the Mod squad and she witnessed a murder only she was blind but the murderer didn't know she was blind and hunted her down to kill her until Linc stopped him right at the last second and as they're were dragging the murderer away to jail he said wait she's blind I think she was a singer on the show who was blind so she only really heard the murder aynway...
I love the Dr. Weeks delayed reaction to the video.
Dr. If you're out there lets see if we could plan another event as good as being underwater and out in space at the same time-I just thought I'm going to see the Daniel Johnston documentary this weekend call me 50 times
also someone, me, might have left her compost bucket outside and a bear trashed her porch no worries though just everything thrown about 50 feet
sure do miss you all of you

hello cuntry correspondant!
cheers to mid-century Moderne music!
