Hey Gree C.
<---Brother Pieter and his best friend Dean with their righteous new Walkmans™. Rock out to the Beethoven, dudes! Anyway, Gree C., you should also know that we will most deffinitely go to the righteous used record stores located in the basement passages underneath the ancient, crumbling buildings of Istaklal, the pedestrian shopping street located in the righteous Istanbul district of Beyoglu, where we will most certainly find many gems from the beloved Turkish pop singers Bulent Ersoy and Zeki Muren.
I am trying to gussy up my apartment today. Throwing shit out. In case you were wonderin', Capt'n.
This concludes today's overshare.
Your bro needs to chill out. Maybe he can hold off and give you time to go through that incredible record collection....
I may actually paint my ceiling. The paint chips are falling in my coffee.
Yeah, the 70's shades of orange and green. Got those. Also the one where all the rainbow colors transition from one to the other. Oh 70's acrylic yarn.
Just For Your FYI my best friend from grade school, Alkim Tuna, is Turkish and once while driving to Neshaminy Pools we heard "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" sung in Turkish on the Turkish AM radio station.

Zeki and Bulent are both greatly loved by most of the Turkish population, it's really fucking cute. OK call me 50 x Gree C.

Peeds!! Gussy it up, girl. I'm all about that lately. I'm so having the desire for minimalism, yet I'm so living the life of hopeless clutter. Me and the Mrs. have a lot of stuff, and our place is tiny. On top of that, long story short, my semi-crazy brother keeps shipping me boxes of my old books and records and crap from my high school & 20's era that I had stored away in my parent's basement, where problematic brother now lives (well, he lives in the whole house, not just the basement.) This is awesome when I rediscover my old Grace Jones, Thomas Dolby, Laurie Anderson, and Led Zeppelin albumen, but harsh when I open the 6 trash bags of my mom's beautiful blankets that she crocheted while watching TV. How could I ever get rid of them? My mom made them herself. But now I have like 10 more blankets, and nowhere to put them. The other day 2 TRUNKS came in the mail. I'm afraid to open them, afraid not to. So they sit in the hallway right outside our apartment door, blocking the way. I have problems.
This concludes today's overshare.

Oh I would have a very hard time throwing those blankets away. I have a few too--in 70's shades of orange and green. They are keeping my closet warm. I am a clutter queen, but have been getting rid of the non-meaningful stuff. My apartment is small, but perfect for a bachlorette like myself.

Paint the ceiling! I support it fully. The Mrs.' mom once painted her ceiling black to make the place look bigger (and I think it worked.)

I am itching just thinking about it.

, atNot so bad, actually. We have the righteous orange & blue & cream one on the bed right now. It's ok with a layer in between.
