Capt'n's Log
Object: Making it happen against all odds
"Dawn" to Team Shredder means getting in the water by8:30 AM, which this Capt'n somehow managed to do yesterday. It was so glorious that I must go again this morning. Quiet, soft bright grey skies and water, weirdly humid, no wind in the AM, sweet waves, and no choads out there. In the morning it's like 40% women, all friendly, and mostly older, sweet guys. No children! And in the parking lot it's the nice ladies laughing with the group of 75-80 year old guys.
Things feel new, fresh, and tender in the mornings out there. That's what I'm talking about!
I loved this mornings log capt'n I feel like I'm waist deep when I'm reading
sure do miss you shredders
buying tickets tomorrow to come west
ps Debbie Brown if you are still not smoking by the time I get there I'll take you to the laser light show at the planetarium
oxoxoall around by the way i'm so crashing your brothers international wedding
pd email capt'n with your show info
Gree C--I am gonna email you...if you don't mind.
Gree C. call me 50 X today, I'm not kidding man, we got shit to work out. We gotta figure out Istanbul this weekend, too.
your giant and small things blew me away in your studio and I hope I didn't do them a disservice.
Weeks doesn't like the names Nigel or Carson. She can only seem to call him the baby. I'm kind of leaning toward Seamus myself.
He's getting more coordinated and his depth perception is better, and he can eat baby food off of a plate now. It's all happening so fast...
Oh capt'n, I wish I could adequately describe the beauty of our imaginary mornings at the New Jersey industrial shoreline. On calm days we just paddle out into the sludge and drift in with the bits of styrofoam... so peaceful.
It gives me great pleasure to see your moniker around ethertown, Capt'n. I just needed to share that with you. I always know when I see it...I'm in for something good.

I think Sea Monkey needs to sleep this morning...

I went out to the point and whoa, it was going OFF this morning. Big beautiful rollers, action-packed, plus i met a nice guy from Philly out there. I knew by his accent before he even told me. I stayed out for 3 hours, a bit too much I think, and now i feel it. But no regrets up in here.

Hello Capt'n, Gree C and Corns (and the sleeping Sea Monkee). I must say Capt'n, I could smell the water when I read your post, and I felt a faint cool breeze. Made me wish I could stand to put a bathing suit on and jump in!!
Gree C--I am gonna email you...if you don't mind.

pd, you'd probably still need a wetsuit at this point in the year as opposed to a bathing suit. Is that ok with you?

Corns, I'm sorry I posted yr giant things so tiny. I only had 1 second that day and....

Capt'n, I wear a wetsuit 24-7, under my clothing. It keeps it all in...if you catch my meaning.

Wonderful, capt'n. Sounds like an amazing way to begin a day. Early morning is the absolute best; its own reward.
Oh capt'n, I wish I could adequately describe the beauty of our imaginary mornings at the New Jersey industrial shoreline. On calm days we just paddle out into the sludge and drift in with the bits of styrofoam... so peaceful.
Wow Sloth, the sludge and styrofoam must provide a buoyancy so calming to your slothful rythms of cerebro-spinal fluid. Plus the fact that surfboards are made of sludge and styrofoam anyway...whoa, it's too real, girl.

Capt'n, SLothy has got the description down. But don't let that scare you. Jersey welcomes the Team.
