Vincent van Gogh and Jennifer Coates

I say yes to this post my Capt'n
I can't remember the last time I so eagerly awaited spring

capt'n

I'm haunted by the ice pick image going into the back of my head like the fellow in boxers from THE BRAIN
mostly I'm afraid that I will like the notknowing
yesterday my sister told me that some of the parents of kids that go to school with my nephew in Brooklyn are planning to sue a 13 year old girl
we didn't talk details there was no point I mean I think some shoving was involved or something I don't know my sister got up and left
but the thing is that kid of thing makes me really worried maybe its our species
I don't know I'm sorry to be a bummeron your blog again
I mean first I busted out my merkin on your blog
I'm gonna get back to the spring part
that juan gogh sure makes a nice looking tree
I was gonna go see some art but I'm not in the mood for an opening but I'm gonna try and meet the Mrs Capt'n for dinner
food always wins out for me

Well I was so excited when I saw the first two paintings on your blog - yes I thought - these are dazzling and now I don't know what to do scrolling down like this and seeing my thingy. I want to cry. You are so nice. Thanks you sweet person!

Gree C,
the Mrs. just tol me ya'll had an excellent time in the little pasta place with the murals on the walls that made it look like a cruise ship from the 1940's.
Oh how I can't wait to be there again with you. We'll have an excellent time.

MM, we just have to face the fact that these images somehow belong together. At least right now. Yes, they are different and on the one hand doing their own things. But still. I cannot deny the thread(s.)
Thank you for all you do. You inspire perhaps more than you might realize. Or maybe you do realize?

I had to go back and name names.

I am quite smitten....

I am quite smitten....

see?

I am filled with love and gratitude for Team Shredder and you, the Capt'n. The desire to be connected to VVG is great in my mind's eye. May your day be blessed with waves and imaginary canaries.

Randy, are we real pals or ether pals? You seem very kind.

Capt'n thank you for making this brilliant connection. I wish I was the head curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, first thing i'd do is sell off some of those dusty old vases and clear the way for a block buster show of these two.

I concur. I'm enjoying the nebulous mesh of floating landscape, the perspective changes from elevation to top view, very simple and beautiful.

way to go team shredder. Two great tastes that taste great together. Excellent.

capt'n, my mind is blown apart by this. EXACTLY. yes.

Weak lil' neuron, your tear is she a thousdand feet deep? Yet still you float and say Hi.

Hi
xo

Capt'n's gentleness and generosity inspires deeply. Thanks. And Seamonkee, you are a strange ocean creature, there is so much pain and my mouth is stuffed up. Hi.

Hi Team
Sea Monkey I picked up your single, singal, signal (nice use of the code by the way)
the signal is stronger than your think especially near water
sometimes I feel you pacing back and forth, there is no mania involved you are more like the beacon and sentry of all creative innovation-no pressure though babe
very happy to hear you may be coming for a visit I'm preparing for the falling down laughing doctor

MM This last painting sent me out on an assignment upon seeing it, I discussed it with the delegation of me and we are not any more intelligible but now we don't care we are still delighted to report yes, all the way yes

Hey Gree C! I want to invite you to a blog party on April Fool's Day. I wish the other coast bloggers could join too...I believe I have received your email via Corny. Expect a transmission from Doodlebug666 very soon. It would be joyous to make your acquaintance again.

Dag! I wanna play too!
Ok, that was my very base & childish reaction to hearing of the blog party that 2/3 of Team Shredder cannot attend. Unfair!
But The Mrs. is there and maybe she can go with Gree C. & represent..? The rest of the Team can watch it in our mind's eye. Just kidding with the base reaction, btw. Actually I'm pretty thrilled by the idea of the east and west coast branches meeting up and partying like it's 1899.
Sea Monkey and I will be there approximately a week later and perhaps more socializing can occur-? No pressure. As sufferers of varying degrees of social anxiety disorder, we're not trying to pressure. But.

just saying,
TC

Capt'n. Yes. I WISH YOU AND SEAMONKEE could come but am thrilled to learn that Mrs. The Capt'n will be there too. I just emailed you, I thought I had Gree C's but no, I am hoping to contact her through you. You are coming the week after? I can't believe the good fortune we are in receipt of. Yes, I will come out of my anxious winterized shell of a hull of a personality if you will. I am going to get neutered and euthanized in anticipation.

I didn't mean to assume that Gree C and Mrs the C will attend. I will not assume that. I am just glad that there is proximity. Ok, neurosis, over and out.

sadw,
of course we ALL assume and hope they will attend! Now all we have to do is check with them. I would gently poke fun of you & your sillyness if I weren't too busy cracking up and re-reading "I am going to get neutered and euthanized in anticipation" repeatedly.

sadw, I just walked in the door and re-read my last statement to you and now it seems harsh and weird, which was not my intention in any way at all. I only meant happy and good. But I am a spaz.
Maybe getting bitch-slapped by the waves will cure me. The Team is off to go find out....

Def jux.
