Just Because

The Just Because department of Team Shredder is pleased to announce Jennifer Macdonald's inclusion in the current group show at The Drawing Center. The show is called Analog Animation: Selections Spring 2006.
This is a still from Jen's 3-minute animation----->
of a boy eating and disgorging blackbirds. The whole dang thing is hand painted, I might add. I can't wait to go see this, because if this piece is anywhere near as good as the one other animation of hers I've seen, called Brighter Death Now, then look out people!

Comments:
The opening is this Friday night, Feb. 24, 6:00-8:00, at 35 Wooster st. in the Drawing Room, by the way.

Capt'n
went to see Jen and her work the piece looked good too many people You and I can go back next week and then get a soup
I'm having a meltdown this morning it is 2006 and Phyllis Schlafly is being interviewed on NPR
not that NPR is the best barometer but a lot of fucking people listen to it and the woman who learned to put a smile and a dress on hatred to sell it to this country is being interviewed and addressing congress apparently
I guess she never went away after single handedly bringing down the Equal RIghts Ammendment but I didn't realize how strong her movement of hatred is
I'm sorry to dump this into the teams lap but what to do capt'n I mean Phyllis fucking Schlafly now

Jen Macdonald is #1!

I know, Gree C. I don't like fascism either. The Mrs. told me that Bush got busted, again, this time for taking out the director of NPR and putting in one of his personal asswipes, thereby trying to reshape the content of the programming. I didnt know. I hope one day soon we'll hit critical mass of public outrage, and then things will start to shift back to sanity. I really thought 9/11 would wake people up (in terms of instiling a sense of compassion and restraint in Americans, since for once we knew what it felt like to be attacked and vulnerable...but that didnt really work out...and then I really thought Bush shitting on the United Nattions and starting an illegal, unprovoked war on the wrong country would wake people up, and I really thought New Orleans would DEFFINITELY wake people up....but anyway, I'm still waiting for it to happen. I think it will, eventually. But in the meantime, Phylis Schaffly on NPR!?? What is wrong with people?

Dear Capt'n, I am sorry for the hamster problem. Please accept my apologies, there was no harm intended on the part of you or your person, or your state of mental health.

Love and care of all furry things and gree c. things,
